Is the service covered by OHIP?Most of the procedures are covered by OHIP. If you need an intervention , you will be asked to replace the cortisone medication that had been used. It costs less than $20.00.
There are procedures that are not fully covered by OHIP. You will be advised about those and given an estimate of cost long before procedure. Many of the private health insurance plans accept this extra cost. If you need forms completed or you want a copy of your file, there would be an additional fee attached. Many plans/ Employers will reimburse you for this cost.
Regarding RFA needles, we do not have any funding at this point. The only cost at this point is the cost of RF cannula which most of private health insurance plans accept the cost.
