WSIB patients

2/7/2012

This is a common question for patients who injured while they were at work and now, are dealing with WSIB:

-“will WSIB receive a copy of your notes?”
A: if you provide us the WSIB number, we will send a copy of the notes to them. It takes sometimes, however your case worker would eventually get the notes. Another approach, and I believe the more appropriate one, is to talk to your case worker and let them know you had seen us. In this case, they will write a letter and request the information that they need. In this case, they would not ignore the information.
