A new medication for neuropathic pain is under investigation. Small molecule Angiotensin II, type 2 receptor antagonists is being tested in animal studies, Pain Medicine journal 2013, 14;692-705 reported. This new medication could help to reduce the activity of the nerves in DRG. (dorsal root ganglions)
